Mandy
15.1HH Irish mare, rising 5 years. I think Mandy will make a nice all rounder, she gives the impression that she will just get on and do any job she seems confident without being bolshy. We have been told that she has done some hunting. She does have a nice natural shape over a fence. Hopefully, she will be a nice all rounder or maybe be quite sporty. Please follow her diary over the next few months and get to know her more with me.
Eight week's later
We have had this little mare for only eight weeks. She is a nice mare and gives me the impression that she is very tough and is a very hard worker and just wants to please. We have hacked her on our busy roads but I would prefer her to have company to build her confidence in heavy traffic. She has a nice attitude when at a show but does not like to be to close to other horses her jump is fantastic, she jumps like Jess. She is very balanced in her flat work but I think this helps her as she has a pony stride. She does have a small sarccoid/ wart under her stomach near her hind legs that reflects in her price.

Mandy was shod on Tuesday, her feet look a lot better now.I usually box up and go somewhere a lot quieter than our very busy main road to hack out with new horses but I have no transport at the moment so I have to hack Mandy through our busy main road (people use it as a cut through to the A1-A52 even Artic lorry's) but we used good old Tom to go on the outside of Mandy as I don't think she has seen busy traffic before, she was green but has a sensible brain if that makes any sense I hope so,you can tell it is the end of the week!

Mandy had a routine physiotherapy assessment done today everything was good that includes a movement assessment, tight circles left and right, passive stretches on each limb which were good, rein back was good. Her static assessment conformation wise was good. Her muscle balance Is slightly overdeveloped underside of her neck which will slowly go as I work her on the flat and encourage her to use her topline and stretch over her back.
