Hi Louise and Julian,
I really couldn’t wait to catch up with you both to let you know how Sean is settling in. He truly is a STAR and I love him to bits. Not only did he cope with the 4 hour Journey (so sorry Julian), taken off the lorry and ridden, then he was shod 2 hours later taking everything in his stride and being perfectly behaved! Wow I’m just not used to such a perfect horse! The saddle fitter came the next day and he now has a fantastic Ideal VSD saddle-and we are having so much FUN. We have ridden out in big groups (which I have never been able to do with the two previous horses I have owned), and Sean was perfect even dropping to the back whilst cantering as others misbehaved- I truly felt so proud of him. We have encountered all sorts of obstacles such as wind turbines, pressure washers, all types of big machinery and the darling boy just looks and when asked to move on he does exactly that. We hack out alone and he has been perfect-just as you said he would be. I try to do a little schooling mostly whilst we are hacking but today I took him into the large ménage and he was brilliant, I took on board what you told me and he just came down onto the bit, transitions are still a bit wobbly but he worked so well. I'm beginning to work out what "buttons to press" but he truly is the most honest horse. In the next couple of weeks we are going to try out the trailer and go for a short journey-then the worlds our oyster! Well not quite-but the beach is my next mission. I know I have only had him a week but my confidence is returning so quickly. My last horse was not easy at all and as a result I fractured several lumber furtabre back in July and told not to ride for at least a couple of months but having ridden a few I knew Sean was my boy and I really can't stop smiling. I know I must of seemed very novicey but when you've hit the deck a few times its amazing how much you doubt your own abilities. My ambition is to hunt as I have never had a horse that would but for the immediate future we will do some dressage over the winter months and hit the show circuit in spring-he will make a fantastic small hunter! He is getting an awful lot of attention on the yard-every one here (40 in all) have been on your website and think its brilliant-you have just got to keep it up. There is truly a market for honest people like yourselves and the diary is such a brilliant idea. Good luck in Ireland, if you can find horses like Sean they will always sell, the whole of Norfolk will be knocking on your door! In fear of boring you to tears I'd better sign off but if you have any pictures you can email me of Sean I'd be most grateful, as I'm going to start a scrap book up just to caterlog his progress. Thanks again for the perfect horse-I never thought one existed but I have one. With love Moya x

I stumbled on your website by accident now look forward to your diary entries.  Sorry that Sean’s leaving upset you so much, I am sure you gave the new owner a full vetting and he will be fine.
I wish I was in a position to buy Brian I have fallen in love with those big soppy eyes!. Unfortunately it will be May before I have another.  If you keep him do keep us up to date and let us know how his hunting goes. It would be lovely to have an honest person selling horses, having had 2 terrible experiences in the last 2 years I would pay more knowing that I would be saved from the heartache.

I have really enjoyed looking at your web site.  I have recently returned to riding after a three year break. As I am in my fifties I need to get my confidence back so am going to my local Stable. I hope to feel that by the Spring I will be ready to look for a new horse, I still have my old boy  who is retired on our own land I have to say it took all my strength not to reply to your add for Shaun, what a gorgeous horse. I will keep checking your website and who knows next spring you may be able to help me find the right Steed. Best Wishes and please keep your fab website (and Diary) going!

Thanks for this morning I just wanted to say how nice it is to meet someone who puts their horse’s needs 1st. If only Sean had been a little older and a bit more established I might have been more suited to him. Also your presentation of him was perfect such a lovely looking boy and so well mannered whilst I had a good feel. I'm sure someone perfect will come along but I think if you had him another nine months he would be worth nearer £8000 he's just the type everyone wants!

Teddy's new home is not to far away from us and he has gone to a lovely home, where I know he will be there for the rest of his life !!!!
He recently went on holiday to Norfolk and we recieved a postcard:
Dear Louise etc,I've had a super few days in Norfolk, the lanes and bridleways are so nice.I've made firm friends with Barnaby and have cantered side by side. We're going out for a ride soon.Lots of Love Teddy xxx
